During my Christmas stay at this charming hotel, I was delighted by the friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel right at home and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The highlight of my experience was definitely the delicious food served at the restaurant. The menu was varied and interesting, and every dish I tried was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was a true culinary delight. the clean and modern rooms provided a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Although my stay at this hotel was overall fantastic, there were a couple of small negatives. I wish there were sun loungers around the pool instead of just chairs.

This hotel is in a central location for visiting the Gers department. The staff were friendly and helpfull as far directions to various sites in the area. The cuisine was modern french, but was the same every night. It would better, if staying for 3 or 4 days and want to taste traditional. cooking it would be better to find a restaurant in the nearby towns.

The value for money was great - comfortable bed, hot shower, fluffy towels. The staff treated me like a friend, not just a guest. Special mention to the lovely picnic basket and bottle of wine in the room on a rainy day.
The morning meal could have been better with more inspiring and fresh salads in the entree.

All of the hotel staff were quite wonderful. During my stay, there was some construction going on in a nearby room and the noise was quite loud during portions of the day. Upon my check-out, the manager gave me a very nice bottle of wine to compensate for the inconvenience. What an unexpected gesture of kindness! The hotel has a great restaurant as well.
Everything was satisfactory+.

Excellent staff; especially the owner. They make you feel most welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We only ate in one evening but the food was good and the chef himself was attentive to our needs and the quality of the food he prepared.
The hotel is still undergoing renovations. We asked for two rooms with a/c, but only one was available and in a room yet to be upgraded. No problem having the "old room", but the other room was hot. It seems there is a mistake in part of the hotel website; when you hover over the room type "double room with balcony" it mentions a/C. I mentioned this to the owner who said he would put it right and gave us a petit cadeau of Armagnac for our disappointment. All rooms will have a/c come end 2011.

This charming country hotel is a hidden gem worth discovering. the renovation has transformed it into a comfortable and modern 3-star hotel. the spacious rooms are well-equipped and the staff is warm and welcoming, always ready to provide assistance with a friendly smile. the restaurant serves excellent food, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. Relax in the peaceful garden or take a dip in the refreshing pool. There are nearby villages and towns with historical sights to visit and the winding country roads are a pleasure to drive on.
Finding the hotel can be a challenge for those unfamiliar with the area.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and enjoyed the festive decorations and fireplace in the lobby. the restaurant served delicious, locally-sourced food and the staff was accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Also appreciated the hotel's central location, making it easy to visit nearby towns and attractions.
The room was disappointingly small and outdated, with an uncomfortable bed and tiny bathroom. the pool was much smaller than expected and dominated by noisy children, making it impossible to relax.

For us, the best thing about Le Fleurance was the warmth and friendliness of the owners and the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were helped to feel totally at ease and 'at home'. This is no 'chain' hotel, it's a hotel with its own unique (and very definitely French and slightly quirky) personality. That means it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but for us - well, we were very happy to feel part of the 'family' for the few days we were there. We found the location was perfect for exploring this part of the Gers and also enjoyed chilling out in the pool too. We can wholeheartedly recommend dining at Le Fleurance's excellent restaurant - it was easily one of the best restaurants we ate in during our long trip through France. Breakfast was also a treat (thank you Anne for your 'just right' mix of attentiveness and cheerfulness!).
Some of Le Fleurance's quirky charm does come from its decor - it's quite dated, however, and money spent on refurbishment would really make a huge difference. Air conditioning would be a good idea too, our room was really quite stuffy, although we discovered there are rooms with balcony doors available which we'll certainly ask for next time we stay.

The hotel was clean but very basic. The receptionist that we saw was very proficient (also spoke english as she was from Australia). The Chef was excellent so was the food, but the waitress had an attitude problem which spoilt our meal.
The waitress had an attitude problem which spoilt our meal. Would not stay there again
